Privacy policy

Pigment works without an account. Your drawings, paintings and exhibitions stay on your device. This page describes the only data that leaves it: the data of the Full atelier purchase.

1. Data controller

2. What stays on your device

• Your drawings, layers, paintings, saved creations, exhibitions and settings. Paintings are computed on the device; we have no access to this content.
• The photos you import or take with the camera: Pigment only reads the photo you choose and transforms it on the device.
• Saving a creation to Photos only asks permission to add images, without access to your photo library.
• An image or video is shared only when you choose to, with the app you choose.

Depending on your settings, your device backup (iCloud or Google backup) may include this data. It is then handled by Apple or Google under your own account.

3. Full atelier purchase

Payment is processed by Apple on the App Store. We never receive your payment details, your Apple ID or your name.

To verify and restore the purchase, Pigment uses the RevenueCat service (RevenueCat, Inc., United States), acting on our behalf. It receives:

• an anonymous identifier created by the app;
• the transaction details provided by Apple: product, date, store country and purchase receipt;
• the date the app was last used;
• technical information: device type, operating system and app versions.

This data is linked neither to your name nor to your email address. It is used only to provide, verify and restore your purchase, and to follow its sales. Legal basis: performance of the purchase contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

It is hosted in the United States. This transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in RevenueCat’s data processing agreement.

4. What Pigment does not do

• No account, no advertising, no audience measurement.
• No tracking across apps or websites.
• No sale or rental of data.

5. Retention

Content on the device stays there until you delete it or uninstall Pigment. Purchase data is kept as long as needed to provide and restore the purchase, then according to our accounting obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Write to contact@tangente-software.fr. As purchase data is not linked to your identity, we may ask for the purchase date or the Apple receipt to find it. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Pigment asks for no personal information, whatever the user’s age. A child’s purchases can require a parent’s approval with Apple Family Sharing’s “Ask to Buy”.

8. Changes

Any change to this policy is published on this page with its update date. The French version prevails.
